Join us on this fabulous 5 nights Summer Special retreat, in which we combine all our best elements! Hosted by Steph Sheahan, our Food Experience Designer, you will enjoy daily morning and evening yoga with meditation sessions, gain a holistic appreciation of food, and embrace the wild outdoors with foraging walks and hike on the Cliffs of Moher Path. During this retreat you will be encouraged to slow down, connect back to nature, food and yourself. The morning yoga classes will be warming and invigorating and of course fun! We will practice a slow Vinyasa flow, moving mindfully through standing sequences, creating an inner fire within, developing strength and improving flexibility. The evening classes will be Restorative in nature, gentle and nourishing. This practice is about letting go, opening up tired joints, removing any stagnant energy. It will be deeply relaxing – expect to float out of the studio!

 

The Food Experience element of this retreat will create an environment and opportunity for you to slow down and tune into the gifts of edible nature that are to be savoured in our everyday life. The intention for the cookery session is to come away feeling more connected, inspired and competent. We will visit the organic gardens to see where and how food is grown and harvest the seasonal abundance for our cooking. We then make our way to the kitchen where we prepare food in a sensual and hands-on way. Guests will be encouraged to get involved in the food preparation and to tune into their senses, tasting, smelling and feeling their way through the food-making process. Guidelines will be provided to equip guests with developing a whole food pantry, a calm cooking and eating environment and how to use these practical everyday activities as a meditation.

 

Cliffs of Moher Hike

Weather permitting we will hike the stunning Cliffs of Moher Path, explore through foraging walks the local coastline, you may even decide to go for a sea swim.  During your free time you will be encouraged to relax, maybe treat yourself to a massage, enjoy the hot tub and sauna, or to simply explore the local communities on our doorstep. This is your time to do as you please, focusing on what you need.
