This special retreat turns this idea on it’s head by not only welcoming the winter in, but using it’s properties to explore our relationship to this season: the cold, the wet and the windy weather.
We will not only get outdoors, we will celebrate being outdoors in this darkest of seasons. We will hike, surf, swim and (pier) jump right in and enjoy the amazing gifts that nature at it’s wildest offers us.
Being in the cold is empowering and has massive health benefits. Michelle is a qualified Wim Hof Instructor, senior yoga teacher and former cold-fearer. Join her on an exciting adventure into the depths of winter as she shares how she came to love the cold. Many of us fear the cold but once we realise that we have the power to breathe through it and allow it in instead of resisting it, we emerge powerful, alive and full of energy. You too will discover this.
Our thoughtful schedule has elements of heat and cold. We will start the day with a flowing Vinyasa yoga class to heat the body and wake us up. Our mornings will take us out into nature, whatever the weather is and each day we have a different and exciting schedule. Our afternoons are free to soak in the hot-tub, the herbal steam or the Infrared sauna and we finish the day off with a Deep Breathing session, meditation and restorative yoga class in our stunning studio. The events are framed with some of the most delicious food you will ever taste and when this week is over you will have a new appreciation for the elements, the cold and your own inner strength.
